About This Game Hotel Blind is a simulator of a blind person in a hotel room. Enter a new room and complete five objectives before leaving the room. Text popups and audio describe the objects in the room and the walls, allowing you to map out the room in your mind as you play. Navigate the room using movement keys or your gamepad. Completing all of the objectives will complete the room. Each play starts a random room. Hotel Blind can be a standard experience, or a VR experience on the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive. Hotel Blind is powered by Unreal Engine 4. It's a novelty item. Take minimalist text gameplay, reduce it even more, simplify it down to the bare bones of "have you ever wondered what it would kind of be like to be blind for a night without the effort of putting on a blindfold?" and get a single achievement for the game: and bam! You are good to go.I wouldn't recommend it at full price, only in bundle, like I said, it's very *novelty.* But I was entertained in the whole oh 5 minutes it took. Pros: minimalist to the max.Easy on the eyes (lol)Easy on... everything.Cons: There is literally nothing else to it. If it wanted to be more a game than a novelty ordeal, it could incorporate some old school text-based game tasks such as going to work outside the hotel room, adding in minigames for using the laptop, showcasing tricks that the visually impaired use for other daily tasks: or even just the brushing teeth and such, etc.I do like collecting SJW-approvable games & 100%-ers so yaaaay. The audio cues are minimal at best, and you don't need a single clue to actually finish the game. You could have been blind and deaf and still come out on top.Seriously, I found half the objectives just by taking a few steps and finished the five of them (and thensome) in 5 minutes. Get a real sound engineer on board, flesh out the levels in the darkness a little better, even have difficulty options grading on various levels of vision imparement, and this could have been something a lot more enticing than a simple five minute romp with a broken achievement. Until then, the Stevie Wonder Simulator is less euseful than the Watch Paint Dry Simulator. That at least had some humor.... A friend of mine bought this as a revenge for a game that I gave him. As a university student learning Tourism and Leisure Management, this game was kind of fun and insult. :D Even thought it was just 18 minutes I enjoyed it but wouldn't recommend it for that price, maybe if you want to prank a friend or something.(Loved the new Update with all those invisible achievements added...xD).
